Some stunning genius has given the mash-up treatment to the two biggest Brits on the chart right now, Britney Spears and Adele.
Adele’s revenge anthem “Rolling in the Deep” has been stripped of its bluesy, foot-stomping production, leaving the vocals to sit over the top of Britney’s current dance-pop smash “Till the World Ends”.
I never realized how brilliant Adele would actually sound over dance music, as all the other Adele remixes I’ve heard have all been the indie ones from the likes of Jamie Xx and the like. DJs need to start taking Adele’s tunes to the clubs more often!

Singer Mya is on the cover of the latest issue of BMR magazine, proving that R&B is actually still really popular — in Japan!
Mya’s covering the mag to promote the release of her second Japenese-exclusive album ‘K.I.S.S.’, which is scheduled to hit stores on April 20th.
According to Wikipedia and a few hasty Google searches by me, Mya’s J-Pop single “Fabulous Life” and her urban track “Running Back” with Iyaz have yet to appear on Japan’s Hot 100 or Oricon chart. I guess the Japanese were too busy buying KARA records to notice poor Mya.

She’s now got a new album Rabbits on the Run dropping on June 21st, and a brand new single “Carousel”.
Ellie Goulding made her US TV debut this week with a performance of her UK top five hit “Starry Eyed” live on Jimmy Kimmel. She did the same thing we’ve seen before with all the bouncing around and banging on the drums, but I’m sure it’s all fresh and new for Americans.
She actually sounded a little gruffer than usual, so the performance really didn’t do her voice justice. She should’ve just performed in her bra and panties, then nobody would’ve cared what she sounded like.
That cool girl from X Factor who thinks she’s Rihanna was recently featured in Wonderland magazine. Wonderland were lucky enough to get a listen to the stuff she’s been working on, and according to them, it’s pretty frickin’ good.
US hitmaker Teddy Riley has released a statement regarding the success of his freshly launched K-Pop girl group RaNia, expressing his surprise over the amount of attention the group have been receiving on Youtube and the Blogosphere so soon after their debut. RaNia’s agency DR Music have also spoken out about the early success, revealing that Teddy phoned them up “amazed” by all the attention.
Indie alternative underground artist Avril Lavigne will be forced at gunpoint by RCA Records to release “Smile” as the second single from her Goodbye Lullaby album. The news was confirmed on Avvie Lavvie’s official website, which announced that the song will be sent to Polish radio this month, and that a music video is scheduled to be shot in the first half of May.
Sabi is one lucky girl. After wallowing in obscurity as part of indie female hip-hop duo The Bangz, the singer-rapper was recently plucked out of nowhere and enlisted as a feature on the new Britney Spears’ album. It may have resulted in the worst rap verse in the history of music (“steam me like a pot full of vegetables”), but now Sabi has the eyes of a million crazed Britney stans on her, all waiting to see what she’ll do now that the Queen B has made her relevant.
